Time Out

Once again the tournament clock is paused for a bust-out interview. We expect heads-up play to commence in about five minutes.

Diwei Huang Eliminated in 3rd Place ($153,984)

Diwei Huang - 3rd Place
Diwei Huang - 3rd Place
For the third time in as many hands, Diwei Huang moved all in from the button for 875,000. Charles Chua folded again, but Edward Sabat snap-called.

Huang: {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts}
Sabat: {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}

Bad luck for Huang as he was dominated by Sabat's Big Slick. Neither player improved on a flop of {J-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}. The turn gave Huang outs to a chop by pairing the board with the {7-Hearts}, but it wasn't to be. The river {10-Clubs} completed Huang's elimination from the tournament. He will collect the tidy sum of $153,984. We are heads up.

Charles in Charge

Chips keep sliding Charles Chua's way. Edward Sabat opened a pot from the button to 150,000. Once Diwei Huang got out of the way, Chua put Sabat to the test with a reraise to 500,000. Sabat gave the matter some thought but elected to fold. Could it be he's playing more cautiously, hoping that Diwei Huang will soon bust?

More Chips For Chuck

Charles Chua completed from the small blind and Edward Sabat checked from the big blind. They saw a {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. Chua checked to Sabat who fired 50,000. Chua quickly called.

The turn landed the {2-Clubs} and Chua checked again to Sabat who checked behind. The river brought the {6-Spades} and again they checked.

Chua showed {A-?}{2-?} for just a pair of deuces which was enough to take it down.

Slowly But Surely

Edward Sabat and Charles Chua are relentlessly chipping away at Diwei Huang. After Sabat folded his button, Huang completed the small blind and Charles Chua checked. The flop came {2-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}. Huang bet the minimum, 50,000, and was called by Chua. When the turn came {7-Hearts} Huang quickly checked. Chua came in right behind him with a bet of 150,000, a bet that Huang declined to call.

Chua In Control

Charles Chua raised to 150,000 from the button. Edward Sabat called from the small blind and Diwei Huang folded his big blind.

The flop came {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Sabat checked to Chua who tossed out 275,000 to take it down. Chua is starting to take control of this table as the short stacks will soon feel the pressure of the blinds and antes.

Up Chuck!

Edward Sabat started a limp-fest by calling 50,000 from the button. Diwei Huang was next when he completed the small blind, and Charles Chua completed the action with a check from the big blind.

The {8-Clubs} {A-Spades} {4-Spades} flop was checked by all three players. On the {3-Spades} turn, Huang and Chua both checked to Sabat, who bet 75,000. Huang called the 75,000 but Chua went for a raise to 350,000. Both other players quickly mucked, allowing Chua to extend his chip lead.
