The field today is roughly twice the size of yesterday, making the overall turnout for the tournament in this corner of Asia quite impressive. A bundle of name players are in the ranks today, including Team PokerStars Pros Celina Lin, Tony Hachem, Bryan Huang, Jonathan Lin, Tae Jun Noh and Eric Assadourian.

Leading the local charge is Neil Arce and Ramil Tandoc. The field also includes Tony "Bond18" Dunst, Nam and Tommy Le, Phillip Willcocks, Dennis Huntly, Tom Hall and Aaron Benton.

Welcome to Day 1b here at the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cebu.

The poker room is a hive of activity with workers busily setting up the stadium style final table area, a plethora of cash game tables in operation and a crowd of players gathering to contest what should a significantly larger flight then yesterday.

APPT President Jeffrey Haas is fairly confident that we'll hit or get very close to the 300 player cap for the field.

The start of play today has been delayed till 1pm local time to facilitate a plane full of players from Hong Kong.

We'll be underway in less than an hour.
