Hibbott Takin' Ova Chip Lead

After action checked to him, David Hibbott fired 1,600 on a flop of {9-Hearts} {5-Spades} {2-Clubs}. One player folded and then the player that had checked made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Hibbott fired another 1,600 after his opponent checked. Again, he was called.

After the {10-Diamonds} hit the felt on the river, both players checked. Hibbott tabled {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} for a pair of nines and raked in the pot.

Hibbott's up to 124,000. He's the new chip leader.

Cohen Hits a One-outer To Make Quads

Joel Cohen was all in for 39,525 on a flop of {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {3-Hearts} against Robert Damelian. Cohen had flopped middle set holding {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds}, but was well behind Damelian's {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} and a higher set.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, keeping Damelian's set of aces in the lead.

The river delivered the miracle {10-Clubs} for Cohen, giving him his one-outer and quads to take down the pot. He's now up to 90,000.

Sarah Lee Doubles Through Steicke

David Steicke
David Steicke
We picked up the action on the flop at table 17, with Sarah Lee betting 8,000 on a board reading {7-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}. David Steicke made the call, and the two players went to the turn.

When the {J-Clubs} was flipped over by the dealer, Lee immediately announced she was all in. Steicke asked for a count, and the dealer counted down Lee's stack which amounted to 23,200. Steicke decided to make the call, revealing {6-Clubs} {7-Clubs} for bottom pair, a gut-shot straight draw and a flush draw. Lee was ahead with {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} and called for a deuce on the river.

Sarah Lee's wishes were granted, as the {2-Spades} hit the river doubling her up to about 67,000. Steicke, on the other hand was left with about 15,000 after the hand.

Big Three-way All In

Peter Parsons moved all in for 5,000 on a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. PokerStars online qualifier Eric Tomberlin raised all in for 25,000 and then another PokerStars online qualifier Marcos Vassiliadis made the call.

It proved to be quite the flop as Parsons revealed {6-Spades} {5-Spades} for an open-ended straight draw, Tomberlin tabled {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} for bottom set and Vassiliadis had {Q-Clubs} {7-Clubs} for top two pair.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}, catapulting Vassiliadis into the lead with a full house and leaving Parsons drawing dead.

The river card was then dealt and the {4-Spades} hit the felt, giving Tomberlin quad fours and winning him the pot. We've now seen quads twice within five minutes.

Minh Nguyen With the Double Up

A middle-position player raised to 2,000 and PokerStars online qualifier Asier Aberro called from the next seat. Minh Nguyen then reraised all in for 12,125. The original raiser folded, but Aberro made the call.

Aberro: {A-Hearts} {8-Hearts}
Nguyen: {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}

The board was run through {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}, doubling Nguyen up to 28,000. Aberro dropped to 35,000.

Steicke Slithering Back

On a board reading {3-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts} David Steicke check-raised Eric Tomberlin's bet of 1,800 to 4,800 from the big blind. Tomberlin made the call.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Steicke led out for 6,625 and Tomberlin folded. Steicke flipped over {2-Clubs} {3-Spades} and the table began to chatter about how Steicke never misses with his junk hands. Steicke retorted by saying "if you play every pot, you hit quite a few of them."

The hand popped David Steicke up to about 32,000.
