Leo Boxell Knocks Out Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson opened to 1,475, and an unknown player in seat 9 three-bet to 4,000 straight. Leo Boxell called out of the small blind and Brian Wilson shoved for 36,000. Seat 9 folded, and Boxell went deep into the tank. Boxell finally mustered up a call, and showed the {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. Wilson, on the other hand flipped up {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} and was pleasantly surprised to see he was flipping.

The flop fell down {K-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {3-Hearts} giving Wilson the lead, but Boxell plenty of outs with a heart draw. The {A-Hearts} on the turn put the nail in Wilson's coffin, knocking him out of the tournament and catapulting Boxell to 145,000 in chips.

Sheldon rockin' much better now
On a flop of {10-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}, Sheldon checked and his opponent bet 2,000. Sheldon made the call bringing the two players to the turn where the {5-Spades} fell.

Sheldon checked and his opponent bet 1,900, less than his bet on the flop. Sheldon raised to 4,100 and took down the pot. He's now up to 44,000 chips.

Rubie Still Rolling

Brendan Rubie is fast approaching the 100,000 mark in chips and is making his case for a spot in the overnight top ten.

In a recent hand, Rubie led out with a 4,200 bet ona {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop. A player on the button raised to 9,000 and Rubie made the call.

The {J-Hearts} fell on the turn and Rubie came right back with an 11,000 bet, prompting his opponent to send his cards into the muck.

After this hand, we counted Rubie at 98,000 in chips and climbing.

Break It Down

The tournament clock has been paused while the remaining 75 players go on their last 10-minute break of the day. When they return, we'll play just one more level before we call it a day.

The Poker Star, De Cesare
PokerStars sponsored player Amanda De Cesare opened for an unknown amount from the cutoff seat before a player moved all in for 7,475 more than her raise. De Cesare made the call and rolled over {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts}. Her opponent held a dominated {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {2-Clubs} to bust the all-in player and bump De Cesare up to 38,000.

Leo Left Standing

The tournament staff just broke Leo Boxell's table, but there was a miscount in the players left. With the miscount, Boxell had nowhere to go as there were no open seats in the room. Currently, Boxell is standing at his old table waiting for a seat to open if a player busts quickly. If that doesn't happen, Boxell is going to be placed at the table containing David Steicke and Wooka Kim and make it a ten-handed table for a little while.

All of this happened the hand after Boxell busted Minh Nguyen from the tournament. Boxell held {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and Nguyen held {10-Hearts} {8-Clubs} when the two players got all in on a flop of {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts}. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and the river the {K-Clubs}.

Boxell has 138,000 chips and no where to go.
