Kris Nedanovski Eliminated

Kris Nedanovski, who was holding onto a short stack moved all-in to be called by Sal Fazzino. Kris Nedanovski held the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and was well ahead of Fazzino's {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

The flop, however would be disastrous for Nedanovski as the board rolled out {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The hand catapulted Fazzino to 113,000

One player checked the board of {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} to David Saab. Saab fired 2,000 and Bryan Huang called. The other player folded.

"How deep are you?" asked Saab to Huang.

"Seven thousand, fifty." answered Huang.

After the river card fell with the {2-Spades}, Saab moved all in to put Huang in for his last 7,050. There was a tiny bit more than 6,500 in the pot. Huang tanked and then called.

"Top pair, second kicker!" proclaimed Saab, tabling {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}.

Huang mucked and exited the tournament. Saab's back up to 50,000.

Aleksander Brkovic Doubles Up

We caught the action with Aleksander Brkovic all in for about 17,000 on a {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. Brkovic was disappointed his {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} had been out-flopped by his opponents pocket eights.

The turn, however would brighten up Aleksander Brkovic's day, as the {k-Diamonds} miraculously hit the felt knocking his opponent out, and doubling him up to just around 42,000.

Van Marcus Layin' Down the Overpair

Marcus wasn't too happy to fold those tens.
Marcus wasn't too happy to fold those tens.
Two plays limped from middle position before Van Marcus raised to 2,500 from the small blind. Steve Micos called from the big blind and the two limpers folded.

The flop came down {9-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} and Marcus fired 3,000. Micos raised to 6,000 which prompted Marcus to go into the tank.

Marcus had his hand almost turned completely over while he sat in the tank. The half of the table that he was on could see that he had two tens and was contemplating what to do. Eventually, he mucked his hand. Micos showed him two jacks.

Van Marcus is on 36,000 now.

Nobody Chips Rayan Nathan Up

Rayan Nathan
Rayan Nathan
In true no-limit hold'em style, Rayan Nathan went from having about 60,000 to being knocked out of the APPT Grand Final in the blink of an eye.

The first hand, Nathan called an opponents all in with pocket aces on a {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. His opponent was holding the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Nathan was in great shape.

The {2-Clubs}, however changed things giving Nathan's opponent a club flush draw which his opponent would hit when the {j-Clubs} fell on the river.

Just moments later, Nathan would get involved with chip leader Sayad Jabbour. Nathan limped in, Jabbour raised to 2,200 and Nathan called.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Nathan checked to Jabbour, who bet 7,000. Rayan Nathan bumped the action up to 25,000, Jabbour jammed and Nathan made the call with the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Jabbour must have been channeling the legendary Doyle Brunson, as he flipped over the {10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

The {4-Spades} turn, and the {k-Spades} river were no good for Nathan sending the ChipMeUp.com founder to the rail. Sayed Jabbour, on the other hand has taken the overall chip lead for the entire event with about 160,000.

Khalil Flops His Own Flush

Ali Khalil flopped a flush holding {8-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} on the board of {Q-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}. His opponent held {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} and was all in with Khalil making the call.

The turn and river were the {6-Hearts} and {10-Diamonds} to send the player packing at the hands of Khalil. Ali's up to 38,000 now.

Dave Lee heckled Khalil a tiny bit after the hand about having flopped a flush with a weaker starting hand than his opponent hand.
