Steve Micos raised under the gun to 500 and Brooke Howard Smith reraised to 800. Smith went to open the pot to 700, having thought Micos limped, but was then informed he actually raised. He was forced to put in a raise then to 800. Action then fell on Emad Tahtouh and he made the call. Micos also called.

and Micos checked. Smith bet 1,500 and Tahtouh called. Micos folded.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}

and Smith checked. Tahtouh checked as well.

The river was the {4-Clubs}

and both players checked. Smith tabled two eights and raked in the pot. He's up to 38,000 and Tahtouh is on the starting stack of 30,000.
