Kent Del Rosario Eliminated

Grant Levy opened to 9,000 from under the gun and Kent Del Rosario made the call out of the small blind.

The flop fell down {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Del Rosario checked to see Levy fire out 14,000. Del Rosario called before again checking when the {J-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Levy continued with another bet; this time to 26,000, only to have Del Rosario check-raise all in for roughly an additional 90,000. Levy made the call and the cards were tabled.

Del Rosario: {J-?}{10-?}
Levy: {9-?}{8-?}

Del Rosario was unable to find a Jack or a ten and hit the rail in 25th place while Levy continues to soar upwards.

Chen Clips Liu

JJ Liu opened to 11,000 from middle position and was called by Andrew Chen on the button.

The flop of {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} brought a bet of 18,000 from Liu and a call from Chen before both players checked the {9-Clubs} on the turn.

When the river landed the {10-Clubs}, Liu fired 35,000, and after near on three minutes in the tank, Chen made the call tabling his {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to best Liu's {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} to take Chen to just under 280,000 in chips.

Table 16 (Soon To Be) Happy

Table full of sharks and chips!
Table full of sharks and chips!
Unlike the Main Event, the High Rollers Event hasn't separated the chip leaders on different tables.

Consequently, even though random, the top three stacks have all wound up on Table 16 - Vladimir Geshkenbein (478,000), Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis (448,500) and JJ Liu (406,000).

Fortunately for Gia Dang Trinh, Elton Tsang and Andrew Chen they have been informed, along with the remainder of the field, that their table will be the first one to break.

Levy Pushes Cheung

Derek Cheung opened to 9,500 from under the gun and was met with a call from Daniel Chan before Grant 'grunter' Levy bumped it to 33,000 from the small blind.

Cheung mulled over a decision before making the call while Chan folded to see the {7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop fall and a bet of 50,000 follow from Levy.

Taking his time, Cheung eventually mucked, only to see Levy show him the {4-Spades} as he slipped to 84,000 in chips.

Chen Starts With Aggression

Andrew Chen has begin todays play rather aggressively.

After Jonathan Karamalikis opened to 10,500, Chen three-bet to 30,000 to take the hand down.

The following hand Chen opened to 10,000 and JJ Liu made the call from the big blind before Liu lead for 13,000 on the {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop.

Chen thought for a few minutes before raising to 38,500 to prompt an eventual fold from Liu.

Following his aggressive start to today, he has seen his stack climb to over 200,000 in chips.
