Kings for Hinrichsen

With 1,000 going in preflop by both players, Andrew Hinrichsen checked the {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop to his opponent who checked behind as the {6-Clubs} rolled off on the turn and Hinrichsen fired out 2,100.

Hinrichsen's opponent made the call as the {2-Hearts} landed on the river and once Hinrichsen checked, he was faced with a 1,500-chip bet.

Opting to raise, Hinrichsen moved all in for 9,075 and was met with an eventual call from his opponent.

Hinrichsen tabled his {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and collected the pot to move to 22,000 in chips.

Torres Slips

Victorino Torres
Victorino Torres

With roughly 2,300 in the pot and the flop reading {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}, Victorino Torres fired out 1,700 and was check-called by his opponent.

Both players tapped the table when the {4-Diamonds} landed on the turn before the big blind led for 2,600.

Torres bumped it up to 6,100 and his opponent immediately called tabling his {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} to prompt a muck from Torres.

The APPT Macau Champion has now slipped below the 125-big blind mark to 49,000 in chips.

O'Grady Chops Tens

With a raise to 1,100 under the gun, Michael O'Grady three-bet all in for his last 9,700.

His opponent mulled over his decision before eventually making the call to put the Sydney-sider at risk.

O'Grady: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

In a likely the chop, the final board of {2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} would be spread to see the blinds and antes evenly distributed between the two before O'Grady uttered, "You can't fold there?"

A Couple of Hands with Constantine

Constantine Harach facing action from Jackson Zheng on his immediate right
Constantine Harach facing action from Jackson Zheng on his immediate right

Constantine Harach made it 900 from under the gun to see the action folded round to Jackson Zheng in the big blind.

"Respect!" announced Zheng as he tabled his {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to relinquish the pot to Harach.

"Did you have me beat?" asked Zheng jokingly.

Not responding, Harach pumped it to 1,900 the next hand after a raise to 750 and a call from Zheng from out of the small blind.

The original raiser folded, but Zheng made the call as the {2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop was greeted with a 2,600-chip bet from Harach.

Zheng deliberated for a few moments before making it 5,600 to go as Harach quickly made the call before the {4-Hearts} rolled off on the turn.

Zheng checked and Harach fired out 6,000 to prompt a muck from Zheng as he slipped to 30,600.

"Show me a deuce" pleaded Zheng.

"Nearly put it all in on the flop!" responded Harach before continuing, "Nearly, nearly!" as he climbed to 29,000 in chips.

Top Pair No Good for Kroesen

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} we found Ricky Kroesen firing out 2,200 and getting check-called in two spots as the {2-Diamonds} landed on the turn and his 5,000-chip bet getting check-called once again.

As the river landed the {4-Diamonds}, the action was checked round to see Kroesen table his {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

However the first opponent tabled his {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for two pair, only to have the third player in the hand table his {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a set to collect the pot.

With his top pair being bested by two players, Kroesen slips to 61,000 in chips.

Clark Culled

Kevin Clark bites the dust
Kevin Clark bites the dust

Kevin Clark is the latest player to make his way to the rail.

Moving all in from the cutoff for roughly 4,800 holding {A-}{J-}, Tom Grigg made the call from the small blind holding {A-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Unfortunately for Clark, three spades fell on the board to see Grigg make a flush to send the 2009 APPT Auckand High Rollers Champion to the rail.
