Jukka Juvonen had raised under the gun and Brian Green flatted on the button. The two saw a flop come . Juvonen and Green proceeded to get all the money in, but Juvonen's were out-flopped by the of Green.
The turn and river were no help for Juvonen and he was eliminated by Green's diamond flush.
Albert Kim came into the pot with a raise to 15,000 on the button, and small blind Jeppe Drivsholm made the call to go heads up to the flop.
It brought , and Drivsholm led out into the raiser with a 20,000-chip bet. Kim didn't waste much time calling, and the dropped on fourth street. Drivsholm gave the betting led back to Kim now, and Kim obliged him with a half-pot bet of 35,000. Drivsholm called quickly.
The innocent was the last card off the deck, and Drivsholm took about a minute to consider before checking. Kim stacked out another 35,000 chips and slid them forward, drawing a slight chuckle from his opponent. Drivsholm eyed up both of the stacks before reluctantly making the call.
Kim half-asked, "Ace-queen," flashing his . It was good; Drivsholm shook his head and flung his cards into the muck, dropping his stack down to 280,000. Kim has climbed to 435,000 as he stacks that nice little pot.
On the flop of , Albert Kim fired out a bet of 30,000. Mikael Rosen raised to 86,500. Kim took a few moments and then said, "Where's that triangle thing?" to signal that he wanted the dealer to toss him the triangular all-in button. The dealer did so and Kim was all in. Rosen made the call and tabled the for an overpair. Kim had the for a pair of sevens and a straight draw.
"One time!" yelled out Kim.
The turn brought the and it looks like Kim got his one time. Although Rosen had a flush redraw, it didn't come when the fell on the river. That pot was worth around 600,000 chips and was massive. It propelled Kim to 775,000 and knocked Rosen out of the tournament.
Wee Yee Tan made a late-position raise, and Sparrow Cheung moved all in for just about 100,000 right behind him. Tan made the call, and we waited for the cameras and the announcer before we got to see the cards. Eventually, a showdown:
Tan:
Cheung:
There was a troublesome ace on the flop as it came down . Cheung still had outs, though, and the that turned gave him a few more to work with. The river was not one of those outs, however, and we've lost another player as Sparrow Cheung has flown the coop in 23rd place.
Jeppe Drivsholm raised to 18,000, and Jonas Kronwitter moved all in for about 65,000. Right behind him, Patrick Jensen also pushed for around 105,000. After tanking of surprising length given the previous action, everyone finally folded back to Drivsholm. And he made the call, putting two players at risk. Stacked deck showdown time.
Kronwitter:
Jensen:
Drivsholm:
The board fell a rather uninteresting . Guess all the paint was dealt preflop. Kronwitter got a sweet triple up, and Jensen doubled through Drivsholm for the 40,000 he had left after paying off Kronwitter. Drivsholm looked quite miserable as he rearranged his remaining 175,000.
In early position, Patrick Jensen open-shoved his last 78,000 chips into the middle. The table folded all the way around to the big blind where Mikhail Mazunin squeezed his cards and asked for the count. When he learned the number, he quickly made the call with the covering stack.
Jensen flipped up , and he looked gutted as Mazunin tabled his just-better . The dealer would provide no salvation for the shorty as she ran a board of .
With that, Jensen's day is done, and 21 players remain.
John Chong limped under the gun and then action folded to TJ Vorapanich on the button He raised to 25,000. Jessica Ngu was in the big blind and moved all in after some deliberation. Her shove was for 165,000. Chong folded after getting a count of Ngu's stack and then Vorapanich followed suit.
Jonas Kronwitter called Yong Hyun Yoo's all-in bet with the . Yoo held the and barely edged out Kronwitter.
The flop was big for Yoo when the , giving him a full house. The turn and river completed the board with the and , respectively. Yoo was only all in for a tad over 20,000 so it didn't cost Kronwitter too much.
