Big Call by Drivsholm as Fate Brings Green to Macau

Brian Green
Brian Green

Jeppe Drivsholm and Brian Green took a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Drivsholm was first, having called Green's preflop raise from the small blind. He checked. Green fired 110,000 and Drivsholm called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked. The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs} and Drivsholm took some time before checking the action to Green. Immediately, Green held up two fingers and signaled a bet of 200,000., sliding out two stacks of T5,000 chips. Drivsholm pained over his decision for a couple minutes and then made the call.

He was right in calling as Green turned up the {K-Spades}{8-Clubs} for just king high. Drivesholm's {7-Spades}{6-Spades} proved to be the best hand and he raked in the chips.

Although this mistake failed to work out for Green, another recent mistake he made has proved to be a ice money maker for him. Green accidentally played a satellite online for this APPT Macau event. Hailing from Costa Rica, Green thought he signed up for a satellite to the LAPT Peru event coming up shortly. He won a seat and ended up making the trip to Macau. It looks like it was fate as he's parlayed his small entry into a final-table appearance.
