It hasn't been a fun last level for Jonathan Karamalikis, with his tournament life coming to an end after this hand played out.

Action was folded to Karamalikis in the cutoff and he made it 15,000 to go, which happened to be a big chunk of his remaining stack. Julius Colman then put in a large stack of 5,000-denomination chips from the small blind and when Karamalikis made the call, the players would turn their hands over.

Karamalikis: {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Colman: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board would run out {10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and the flopped pair of queens sent Karamalikis to the rail.

Karamalikis, who took down the APPT Sydney Main Event in 2010, won't be seeing the same sort of success at the Melbourne APPT in 2011.
