Depa Dusts Off Jinhua

Level 11 : 700/1,400, 200 ante

Tom Middleton opened under the gun with a raise to 3,500 and Jonathan Depa called next to act before Jinhua Li shoved all in from the big blind for 40,000. Middleton passed but Depa instantly called.

Li: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Depa: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Spades} to see Li eliminated as Depa climbs to over 310,000 in chips.

Chan Exits

Level 11 : 700/1,400, 200 ante

Mervin Chan found himself all in holding {A-}{K-} against Akira Ohyama's {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Although Chan managed to flop a gunshot, the turn and river blanked out and the 2013 Aussie Millions Champion was sent to the rail.

We saw Australia's Dennis Huntly texting on the rail, and he was kind enough to tell us of his elimination.

According to him, he had raised with {9-}{9-} under the gun and received a call from Chenxiang Miao, who if you recall cracked both kings and aces in the same hand last level. Huntly then check-called a bet on the {j-}{4-}{8-} flop, and the rest of his chips went in a short time later. Miao ended up having {4-}{4-} for a flopped set, which actually improved to quads when the river was the case {4-}.

"Happy f***ing Halloween," Huntly joked. "Maybe I'll come back later tonight for another slap in te face."
