Fan Spikes Set to Double

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

After shoving the hand previously, Terry Fan moved all in for 65,000 and Jan Bendik called in the big blind.

Fan: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Bendik: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The {A-Clubs} in the window saw Bendik take the lead, but when the flop filled out {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, Fan was now squarely in the lead. The turn and river landed the {j-Spades} and {3-Spades} and Fan doubled to 140,000 while Bendik was left with 53,000.

Bendik Doubles Again

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In one of the last hands before the break, Jan Bendik opened for 13,000 from the hijack and Yoshitaka Okawa defended from the big blind. When the flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, Okawa checked and Bendik moved all in. Okawa made the call and the cards were turned on their backs.

Bendik: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Okawa: {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Bendik was ahead with his overpair, but Okawa was drawing live to an open-ended straight draw and one over. Much to the delight of Bendik's rail, neither the {10-Diamonds} turn nor {10-Spades} river did their man any harm and he received a welcomed double.

Kampanatsanyakorn Doubles Through Lukashaugen

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Aidan Tam opened to 8,000 and Tore Lukashaugen called on the button before Chane Kampanatsanyakorn three-bet to 31,000 from the small blind. Tam folded, but Lukashaugen pushed out a stack amounting to 100,000 to put Kampanatsanyakorn all in. Kampanatsanyakorn looked at his hole cards again, paused for roughly 30 seconds then committed his final 32,500.

Kampanatsanyakorn: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Lukashaugen: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Kampanatsanyakorn doubled through to 135,000.

Bendik Makes the Wrong Call

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With approximately 170,000 in the pot and a board reading {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, Jan Bendik checked and Yat Wai Cheng fired out 135,500 from the cutoff. Bendik, who didn't have too much more than that, contemplated the decision for about a minute before tossing in a single chip to indicate a call.

Cheng confidently rolled over the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for queens full of kings, and Bendik let out a sigh before sending his cards to the muck.
