Guerin Takes One Out

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

The player in the small blind opened with a bet, before Didier Guerin moved all in for just short of 50,000 in chips. His opponent reluctantly called for his last 5,275 in chips, as both players tabled their cards.

Guerin: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}, to see Guerin move up to 55,700 and sending another player to the rail.

Yoon Lets it Go

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With around three thousand in the pot, and the board reading {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}, the player in the small blind led out for 1,200. The player in the big blind asked how much he had, and after thinking for a minute, finally folded his hand. Daren Yoon was also in the hand, and made the call from the button, as both players saw the {Q-Hearts} complete the board. A quick bet of 5,600 was enough to see Yoon muck his hand, as he drops to 13,000 in chips.

Lee Picks His Spots

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

The player under the gun opened to 1,000 and was called by Edmund Hoi Ting Lee in the cut-off, as well as the player on the big blind. The flop came {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and the big blind swiftly threw out 1,300. The original raiser got out of the way, as Lee made the call, to see the {9-Hearts} come on the turn. This time the big blind checked, and was quick to muck his hand when Lee threw out a sizable bet.

Westmorland Grinding Back

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Jordan Westmorland opened to 800 from under the gun, and was called by both players in the blinds, as the flop came down {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. Both players then checked over to Westmorland, who threw out a continuation bet of 1,200, which forced a fold from the small blind. The player in the big blind got adventurous, raising to 2,575, leaving exactly 5,000 behind. Westmorland wasn’t fazed, moving all-in over the top for around 15,000 in chips, prompting a fold a minute later.

The Numbers Are In

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

The official number of entrants for today has come in at 204, bringing the tournament total to 388, just short of the 400-runners the staff here at the City of Dreams were hoping for. Either way, it still produces a very appealing prize pool which we'll update once we find out the exact number.
