Fadsy Doubles on the Bubble

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Michael Fadersen started the day with the second shortest stack in the room, but has had a great start to the day and has most recently doubled on the bubble.

The hand in question began with Matthew Caltieri opening to 15,000 from under the gun plus one. Folded around to Fadersen in the big blind and he three-bet jammed for 103,000. Caltieri made the call and turned over his {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. For now, Fadersen was in front with his {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}, but the windown card brought a {k-Spades} to leave Fadersen hurting.

Then the rest of the flop ran out - {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} - and Fadersen pounded the table in glee.

The turn was a {4-Spades} and the river a {a-Diamonds} and just like that Fadersen had doubled.
