On a board of Eddy Liang checked his option then called when David Steicke bet out 8,500.
The completed the board and once more Liang checked. Steicke looked over at his opponents stack before sliding in a yellow tower of 5,000-chips totalling over 100,000. The bet had Liang covered but he didn't mind as he made the call shortly after.
Steicke then mucked his hand as he relinquished the pot to Liang.
With that pot Liang moves up to 130,000 in chips. Steicke drops down to 76,000.
After a raise to 9,000 by Yuanji Dai from under the gun, Kim Wittendorff flat-called in the cutoff seat and the player in the big blind moved all in for just over 45,000. Dai reshoved for more than that and Wittendorff eventually mucked his cards.

KC Wong had another short stack double through him with versus thanks to a lucky on the river, but the newly won chips of 16,500 plus blinds and antes didn't last long. They vanished exactly one hand later.
We arrived at the table to see the player under the gun raise to 9,000 before Yuguang Li moved all in for his remaining 34,000 in chips. With the decision falling back on the original raiser, he made the call, before both players tabled their cards.

Unfortunately for Li the board of did not connect with his hand and he was sent to the rail without adding to his lead at the top of the Asia Player of the Year leaderboard.
Rajeev Raut opened the action with a raise from the cutoff and Baruch Szerer flat-called from one seat over to set up a heads-up flop of . Raut got the short stack all in and at risk for what looked like 40,600 and Szerer called off with the for top pair. Raut had middle pair and a flush draw in but didn't get there with the turn and river as last two community cards.
The action folded around to Yuguang Li in the cut off who moved all in for his remaining 19,700 in chips. The decision fell on Bryan Huang on the big blind who deliberated over his call for a moment before making the call.
