Boskovic Can't Beat Liang

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Joining the action on a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, Eddy Liang check-called a bet of 5,600 by Dejan Boskovic who sat on the button. On the {10-Spades} turn the very same thing happened again with a check, a bet worth 14,500 and a call. The {5-Spades} river slowed down the action and both players checked. Liang tabled his {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and that was good enough.

Boskovic double-checked his cards, shrugged and simply said "you win."

Huang On The Decline

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

PokerStars Team Pro Bryan Huang has doubled his opponent seated to his left twice in an orbit to see him drop down to 67,000 in chips.

In the most recent hand Huang raised to 7,500 from the cut off and was met with an all in totalling 36,700 from the player on the button. Huang made the call and both players tabled their cards.

Huang: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} to see Huang miss a chance to steal the pot after flopping a flush draw.

Expensive Hand for Wong

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Allen Wang was the initial raiser and picked up two callers out of the blinds including KC Wong in the big blind. On the {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Wang continued for 12,000 and only Wong called to see both players checking the {6-Hearts} on the turn.

On the {3-Clubs} river, Wong led for 32,000 and was called rather quickly to confidently table his {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. That ended up second best to the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of Wang though and the Chinese should be among the current chip leaders.

Dai Stays In For Now

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

In a battle button versus big blind, Yuanji Dai got the remainder of his short stack in with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and was quite unfortunate to see the player in the big blind wake up with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. However, the dealer came to the rescue and delivered two aces, two queens and a ten on the board to provide a split pot.

Easy Come; Easy Go

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Dejan Boskovic opened to 6,000 and called the three-bet shove of an opponent out of the small blind for 36,200. As soon as the other player tabled {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, Boskovic knew he would be in big trouble and just nodded while flipping over the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

The board ran out {3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and the short stack doubled. Those chips didn't belong to him for long though, as one hand later Alberto Gomez thee-bet shoved out of the big blind with {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} and the very same player tank-called with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to lost almost all profit again after a board of {J-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

One table over, Percy Yung three-bet shoved for 34,200 with {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Jack Hu eventually made the call with {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Again the board ran out in favor of the player at risk: {3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

Small Pot for Liang

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Dejan Boskovic flat-called a raise to 4,500 by Eddy Liang and folded the {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop to a continuation bet. The Australian is around 170,000 in chips and among the contenders for a potential chip lead at the end of level 12. Another player right around the same amount in chips is Sam Chuan Aik Lee and the latter is no unknown in PokerNews coverages.

Lee finished runner-up to Junzhong Loo in a A$2,000 event at the 2014 WSOP APAC for a career-best payday of A$66,444 back in last October.

Cruel Exit for Lukashaugen

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Tore Lukashaugen has had a roller coaster kind of day after bluffing away most chips early on, getting back up to 120,000 and then losing all but 300 chips. Those were forced all in as part of the 400-ante and Bryan Huang raised from early position. Not before David Steicke had joked "There is a player all in, I can't take the pressure. fold." in the seat just before him.

Everyone else also folded and Huang tabled his {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} whereas Lukashaugen held the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The board ran out {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the bad run of the Norwegian continued. In a football match, he was hurt and actually came to the tournament in crutches!

Raut Eliminates One

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Rajeev Raut made the call from under the gun plus one before the action folded around to the player on the button. He then moved all in for his remaining 45,700 in chips as the decision fell back on Raut. He counted out the call before splashing it into the middle.

Raut: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Opponent: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Raut was never in trouble with the over pair as the board ran out {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to see him move up to 225,000 in chips.

34 players remain in today’s field.

Yuanji Falling

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

We arrived at the table just as Dai Yuanji was checking his option from the small blind on a {3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop. His opponent in the big blind threw out 7,000 in chips which was enough to get rid of the other two players in the hand. Yuanji made the call before both players watched the {k-Diamonds} drop on turn.

This time Yuanji checked before making the call for 15,000 in chips. The {4-Hearts} on the river prompted Yuanji to reach for his chips and splash out 26,000. His opponent didn't take long to make the call and watched as Yuanji tabled his {j-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for queen-high.

Yuanji’s opponent then tabled his {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for two pair which was enough to take down the pot.

With that loss, Yuanji drops down to just 62,000 in chips.
