Quads for Kaplan

Level 1 : 300/600, 0 ante

Arriving on the river of a {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board, there were already massive 50,000 chips in the pot and the opponent of Jordan Kaplan had checked. The American fired 33,000 and was called to roll over {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}. "That wasn't a bad flop for me." he grinned to table neighbor Bryan Huang.

City of Dreams
City of Dreams

The HK$100,000 High Roller Event of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour at the "PokerStars LIVE Macau at City of Dreams" comes with a whopping 100,000 chips starting stack and levels of 40 minutes each. Play will run nine-handed and all participants are allowed do purchase a maximum of two rebuys.

This means, a rebuy can be taken straight away if you have starting stack or less and even a double rebuy after busting for the first time is an option. Late registration as well as the rebuy period closes with the completion of level six.

Action gets underway in an hour from now at 17:00 local time and among those expected to likely participate are Steve O'Dwyer and Bryan Huang. The latter has also made it into Day 2 of the HK$5,000 Knockout event as well, though the turbo structure made for an average of 13.5 big blinds for the restart at 15:30 local time.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be there to provide all key moments until a winner is crowned tomorrow and you can also check out the simultaneous Main Event updates as well.
