Nakabo Doubles Through Li

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The action folded around to Hirotoshi Nakabo in the small blind who moved all in for 17,500 in chips. Juicy Li was in the big blind and looked down at her cards and then made the call.

Nakabo: {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Li: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Nakabo was at risk but would strike gold as the board ran out {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds} giving him trips on the flop and the winning hand.

Jackpot for Nakagiri, Kuo to the Rail

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Kitty Kuo
Kitty Kuo

Junichi Nakagiri was down to just a few big blinds not too long ago, but right now he's soaring after winning a three-way all in. Nakagiri moved all in before the flop for 45,500 and Kitty Kuo called all in from the small blind for just a few thousand chips less.

The action was then on Eric Yim, and he made the call as well to put both players at risk.

Yim: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Kuo: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Nakagiri: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The flop brought {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Kuo took a commanding lead in the hand with a set. Nakagiri needed running cards to make a straight, Yim needed a king or running spades for a flush. The turn was the {4-Spades} and this gave both Kuo's opponents a chance at filling up their runner-runner draw.

And then the {5-Hearts} hit on the river to give Nakagiri a straight, and both the players at the table and on the rail exploded in excitement. Kuo had been knocked out, Yim a hit and Nakagiri tripled up when it was all said and done.

Yongwei Mo

Yongwei Mo moved all in for her remaining 36,000 from the hijack and watched as the player on the button made the call. The two players in the blinds folded before the cards were exposed.

Mo: {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to see Mo unable to improve as she was sent to the rail.

Wang Sticks Around

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The action folded around to Eileen Fengjiao Wang in the small blind who moved all in for her remaining 11,000 in chips. Hirotoshi Nakabo was on the big blind and looked down at his cards before appearing to agonise over his decision before making the call.

Wang: {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Nakabo: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Wang would have to wait till the very last card on the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} board to connect and make a higher two pair to survive in the tournament.

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Dong Kim
Dong Kim

Dong Kim has not been knocked out yet, but the big pot he just lost put him in a much tougher situation to make a deep run. We caught the end of the hand when the flop showed {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} when Vladimir Demenkov was all in for his tournament life worth 35,000 chips.

Demenkov: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Kim: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}, {8-Diamonds} and Demenkov doubled through Kim.
