The board showed {3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}, an opponent in the small blind position bet 5,500 into a pot around 22,000 and Alan Lau moved all in for 21,300.

His opponent quickly called and the players turned over their hands. Lau showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for a pair of kings with an ace kicker and his opponent tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a pair of kings with a lower kicker.

The river fell the {9-Spades} and Lau's ace kicker held on to take down the pot, securing him a double up through his opponent late in the day.
