The second PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour stop in 2022 and first ever in the Kingdom of Cambodia is gearing up for the busy part of the series at the five-star NagaWorld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh. Yesterday, a total of 113 entries were recorded for the 2022 APPT Cambodia $1,500 Main Event in the Grand Ballroom at Naga 1. This puts the event on track the meet and surpass the $400,000 guarantee as another two starting days remain.
At approximately 1pm local time, the second regular heat takes place and 14 levels of 40 minutes each are scheduled with the action concluding at approximately 11pm local time. There will be short 10-minute breaks but all participants can order directly to their tables from various restaurants on the versatile menu at NagaWorld.
All players receive 30,000 in chips and the late registration is open for the first ten levels and following break. During that period, a maximum of one re-entry is allowed and all those advancing with chips at their disposal will bag up for the night to return the following day.
One more chance awaits later in the evening with the turbo heat 1c, which is slated to kick off at 9pm local time. The level duration is cut in half to 20 minutes each and the late registration closes at approximately 0:40am local time. All Day 1 survivors then return to their seats on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 1pm local time to play down to the nine-handed final table.
