Lunde Busts Zhao

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The cards were on their backs on a {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop with Yu Qi Zhao as the player at risk for more than 21,000 versus Ole Kristian Lunde.

Yu Qi Zhao: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Ole Kristian Lunde: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The {7-Clubs} turn gave Lunde the straight and the {a-Diamonds} river failed to complete the flush draw of Zhao. However, the dealer initially pushed the pot to the wrong dealer after which Lunde loudly complained to floor staff and could barely be calmed down.

Sofia Lovgren

In a battle cutoff versus small blind, Mohamad Abbouchi and Sofia Lovgren created a pot of more than 12,000 to the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} on which Lovgren fired a bet worth 7,000. That was enough to win the pot right there as Abbouchi sent his cards into the muck.

Lim First Casualty of the Day

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

There had been all-in jams already but none of them called. However, that changed at the end of level one as Chhay Lem Lim became the first casualty of the day. His stack now belongs to Sweden's Jonas Magdalinski while Norway's Ole Kristian Lunde also took a big chunk off Hassan Siddiq on the same table as well.

Phan Rivers a Boat

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Three players invested 1,400 each to the {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop on which Keita Minami folded when facing a bet by Joshua Norvock in the big blind for 1,300. Quoc Huy Phan had other plans in the small blind and check-raised to 3,500 for Norvock to call.

On the {q-Hearts} turn, Phan bet another 4,000 and earned a call before he bet the {6-Diamonds} river for 5,000. Norvock called once more and Phan rolled over the {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a full house to win a very healthy pot.

Kiwanont Chips Back Up

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

On a completed board of {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, Luke Keay sighed loudly as he snap-folded even before Sukhum Kiwanont had moved the chips for his bet forward. "Just take it," he said and exposed the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for flopped two pair.

"That's a god awful runout," Adalsteinn Karlsson chimed in before the next hand was played. Kiwanont bounced back to more than the starting stack while Keay lost some of his early profit.

Keay Jams Up the Stack Immediately

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Picking up the action on the {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Luke Keay made it 3,000 to go and Sukhum Kiwanont called from one seat over on the button. Keay then fired a bet worth 5,500 on the {5-Hearts} turn to pick up a call and jammed the {6-Hearts} on the river.

Kiwanont eventually folded and Keay mumbled a "very lucky" before collecting the pot.
