Abdulla Chops With Kiwanont

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

The {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} turn was checked by Ceesvin Abdulla and he then called a bet worth 8,500 by Sukhum Kiwanont in the cutoff. The {a-Spades} river was checked once more by Abdulla, who then instantly called a 10,000 bet. Kiwanont tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Abdulla had the equally strong {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

After the hand, Luke Keay and Rajeev Kanjani talked through the hand for a while until the next one was dealt.

Several of the Day 1b casualties have already re-entered including Paul Newey, who quickly double up thereafter.

The tournament clock currently shows 81 players out of 88 entries remaining and it seems very likely that Day 1b will surpass the attendance of the first flight.

Sai Gets Reskallah to Fold a Flush

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Benjamin Sai
Benjamin Sai

In a battle hijack versus button with around 10,500 in the middle to the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Benjamin Sai pushed all-in for what appeared to be 24,200. Aladin Reskallah was in the tank for a long time and ultimately bemoaned a very tight fold, exposing the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

"Good fold, he has the ace-high flush or a full house," Sofia Lovgren remarked. "Why would you shove a full house?" Reskallah remarked and then asked his opponent if he could beat a flush, to wish Sai shook his head.
