Pamplona Tangles With Torres
Level 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jimmy Torres raised to 160,000 from under the gun and folded when Junnie Pamplona three-bet to 475,000 in the big blind.
Pamplona raised it up to 200,000 first to act next and Torres called on the button. On a [9d6hd] flop, Pamplona bet 160,000 and Torres came along to see the J♠ on the turn. Pamplona now check-called for 250,000 and the K♣ river then completed the board.
Pamplona checked again and Torres knuckled it back with the words "you hit the river?" He was shown the 9♣8♦ by Pamplona and that won the pot.
