Kan Tilts Jeon

Seungsoo Jeon just raised to 8,000 from the button and Raiden Kan was his only caller in the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Kan checked to Jeon who bet 11,000. Kan raised it up to 30,000 and Jeon made the call.

On the turn the {4-Spades} hit and Kan fired out 60,000. Jeon quickly called after which the river brought the {5-Clubs}. Kan threw out a really small bet of just 4,000 chips and Jeon called immediately.

Kan turned over {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Jeon slammed the table hard. He didn't look happy as Kan celebrated this win. He's among the chip leaders while Jeon took a big hit.

Kerzhapin Out in 27th; Cheung Out in 26th

Just before the last level ended and the players went on break, Yury Kerzhapin and Sparrow Cheung were eliminated.

Kerzhapin was first to go, and he was busted when his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} ran into Paolo Compagno's {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. The money went in preflop, and the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Shortly after that, Cheung hit the rail when he shoved the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} from the hijack seat for his last 34,400 and was called by Michael Kanaan with the {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The board came {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and Cheung was gone.

McCarty Doubles Through Lin

Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin just raised preflop after which James McCarty moved all in from the big blind for 50,000. Lin made the call and tabled {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, but she was in bad shape versus {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}, and Lin lost about half her stack. McCarty is back in it, but still well below the average.
