Just level three and the antes have kicked in. No doubt the aggression levels will ramp up a notch as each pot is inflated.
Paul Newey was involved in a hand just now from the button in a three way pot as the flop showed 
. Newey check-called a bet of 1,500 with the aggressive Russian player Anatoly Filatov folding the big blind. The turn card 
saw Newey bet 4,300 when it was then checked to him and he took the chips in the middle.
Newey is just above starting stack but Filatov has dropped a little. On another table we spotted Byron Kaverman who has got off to a good start.
Billy “The Croc” Argyros has just bought in too, no doubt hoping to improve on his position last year where he made the final table.
