More for Minh, Jesse Short

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Minh Nguyen has left Jesse McKenzie quite short stacked.

This one started with Nguyen opening the button to 32,000. McKenzie called out of the big blind and the two players then checked the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop. On the {2-Hearts} turn, McKenzie checked and Nguyen bet 45,000. McKenzie called and the board completed with a {10-Diamonds}.

This time when McKenzie checked, Nguyen bet 110,000.

McKenzie instantly called and Nguyen tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}, while McKenzie sheepishly turned over {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} - out kicked by Nguyen.

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded to Minh Nguyen on the small blind who made it 48,000 to go. Thomas Ward made the call from the big blind and the two watched the flop come down {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Nguyen slid out a continuation bet of 55,000 which was called before leading out for 180,000 when the {8-Spades} dropped on the turn.
Ward didn’t wait too long, opting to move all in for 630,000 in chips. Nguyen quickly mucked as Ward raked in the large pot.

Nguyen and Ward Battles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Thomas Ward and Minh Nguyen have just battled in two hands.

The first began with Ward opening to 24,000 from the cut off. Nguyen called from the big blind and the dealer flipped over a {9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop. Nguyen check-called a bet of 26,000 here and then both players checked the {7-Clubs} turn.

The next hand these two played saw Nguyen open to 24,000 from under the gun. Ward was the lone caller from the button and with that, a {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} flop was dealt on the felt.

Both players checked here and then on the {3-Clubs} turn, Nguyen led for 36,000. Ward called and the {2-Diamonds} river was dealt. This time Nguyen led for a large 175,000 and Ward quickly folded.
