Turn War

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Cyril Andre bet out 200,000 from the button and was called by Jiajun Liu in the big blind.

The flop came down {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {8-Hearts} saw Liu check first. Andre bet out 150,000 before Liu slid out a bet of 300,000. Andre didn't hesitate in re-raising to 500,000 but watched as Liu bumped it up to a million in chips.

Andre quickly mucked his hand, relinquishing the pot to Liu.

Andre Fades The Spades

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Cyril Andre limped into the pot from the small blind before Billy "The Croc" Argyros popped it to 255,000 from the big blind. Andre made the call and the two would see a flop of {J-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Andre checked it over to Argyros who bet 250,000. Andre responded with a check-raise to what appeared to be 525,000, but before it could be cut down, Argyros was quickly motioning for the triangle all-in button and just as fast, Andre had made the call!

Andre: {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Argyros: {2-Spades}{8-Spades}

The Croc was getting creative and went with his flush draw, but Andre had flopped top two pair! Argyros would need to find a spade however the {2-Hearts} turn card brought a few more outs if the board could run out with running deuces. The dealer burned and revealed a bricky {9-Hearts} on the river to see Andre's stack of 1.75 million doubled as Agyros slips back into the pack with 3.1 million.

Argyros Still King

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

After almost half an hour of play, we've finally seen a river card.

The hand started with Billy "The Croc" Argyros completing the call from the small blind, and having Jiajun Liu check behind. The flop came down {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Argyros had checked dark, and Liu followed suit. Both players again checked as the {k-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

On the {8-Hearts} river, Argyros bet out 125,000 and watched as Liu came over the top for a 250,000 bet. He quickly made the call and watched as Liu turned over his {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for ace-high. Argyros the rolled over his {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for top pair, and scooped in the pot.

The action started with Thomas Mcgarrity opening to 120,000 from under the gun. Billy "The Croc" Argyros then raised it up to 400,000 from the button as the decision fell back on Mcgarrity.

He sat their for a moment before announcing all in and getting snap called.

Argyros: {A-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Mcgarrity: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Unfortunately for Mcgarrity, he had run into Argyros' pocket aces and didn't improve when the board ran out {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

The start of day chip leader falls to the rail in 4th place, as the start of day short stack now holds a commanding lead with over 5 million in chips.

Liu Sets Up Mcgarrity

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The hand started with Thomas Mcgarrity opening to 120,000 from the button and finding a call from Jiajun Liu in the blinds.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and both players checked. The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn and Liu checked. Mcgarrity slid out 160,000 and was immediately called.

The {2-Hearts} on the river saw Liu check once more. Mcgarrity bet out 175,000 and was met with an instant raise to 575,000 from Liu. The bet took Mcgarrity by surprise, but he made the call.

Liu then slammed his {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} on the table and started cheering, knowing he had won the hand. Mcgarrity could only sit back in his chair, as his cards flew into the muck.

"The Croc" Makes The Call

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Cyril Andre raised it up from the button to 120,000 and Billy Argyros made the call in the big blind. There was little action until the river as both players checked the flop and turn on the {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} board. On the river Argyros led out with a bet of 150,000 but he was met with a raise to 400,000 from Andre to send Argyros deep into the tank.

The Croc played through the hand several times as he muttered away to himself before eventually giving a shrug and making the call. Andre turned up with {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for an air-ball as Argyros opened {k-Spades}{3-Spades} for a full house to take it down.

"Nice play. I almost folded," said Argyros as he is now into the chip lead with 3.7 million. Andre is back down to 1.1 million.
