Wu Doubles

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
Raymond Wu Doubles
Raymond Wu Doubles

The action started with the player in late position opening to 1,200 and finding a call from Raymond Wu in the cutoff as well as both players in the blinds.

The flop came down {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades} and the small blind fired out 2,500 in chips. The two players before Wu folded, leaving the PokerStars Team Pro to think about his decision. A short time passed, before he announced all in for his last 14,975 which was snap-called.

Wu: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{2-Spades}

Wu was in front with his over pair, but had to dodge a number of cards. Luckily for him, the {9-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river were no help and he scooped in the entire pot.

Wong Cracks Aces

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Earlier in the level, Nick Wong was out-flopped by his opponent when his pocket aces were outdrawn by pocket queens.

This time around, on a board of {2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} he committed his last 7,275 holding {5-Spades}{6-Spades} and was called by his opponent who had {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

The meaningless {3-Clubs} completed the board, and Wong's flush allowed him to take down the 25,500 chip pot.

No back-to-back titles for Alexandre Chieng
No back-to-back titles for Alexandre Chieng

There will be no back-to-back titles for Alexandre Chieng, after he was just spotted exiting the tournament floor.

Last year's APPT Macau champion was nursing a stack of 5,000 when he returned from the break, and was unable to make anything happen during this level.

Duan Falls To Lin

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Celina Lin

Zhenye Duan opened with all in for 12,225 from early position. Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin made the call from middle position and the rest of the table folded.

It was a race for Duan's tournament life when he tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Lin revealed {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Duan couldn't find any help on the board {6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and he said his goodbyes to the table.

Wong's Aces Cracked

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

We arrived at the table just as the player in middle position was checking his option on a {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. Nick Wong was also in the hand, and bet out 2,725 from late position, which was called.

The turn brought the {9-Clubs}, and again Wong's opponent checked. Wong then moved all in for 27,100 which was instantly snap-called.

Wong: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Opponent: {Q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Wong's opponent had flopped the full house, and took down the pot when the river came a meaningless {9-Diamonds}.
