Vujanic Eliminated

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Tanja Vujanic has been sitting on a short stack for quite awhile. She pushed all her chips in the middle holding {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and was called by another player holding {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Vujanic needed help and she wouldn't find it as the board ran out {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, eliminating her from the tournament. We are currently down to nine tables and the clock is saying we have 76 players remaining.

Seoul Searching!

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Our own Laura Cornelius took a little look around the enormous South Korean capital where there's plenty of other stuff to do besides playing poker for millions of Won.

The River Saves Lin

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Katsuhiro Muto and Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin just got involved in a pot that could've cost the latter a lot more had the river been a different card.

The flop showed {Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} when we picked up the action and Muto checked to Lin who bet 1,500. Muto did not waste any time check-raising to 3,000 and Lin made the call.

On the turn the {2-Spades} hit and Muto bet another 3,000, Lin called.

The river completed the board with the {J-Hearts} and Muto checked to Lin who tanked for a bit before checking behind.

Muto let out a deep sigh as he slammed his {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} on the table, but his frustrating was unwarranted since Lin mucked her cards. Muto seemed extremely surprised when Lin did not turn over a better hand, and later she explained having flopped two pair.

Ken Demlakian
Ken Demlakian

Ken Demlakian has been building his stack slowly throughout the day. The last two hands saw him folding to big bets on the river. The most recent hand saw Demlakian limp from middle position and the cutoff, small blind and big blind came along.

A flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the blinds checked to Demlakian who bet 1,000. The cutoff raised to 4,000 and Demlakian called after the blinds folded.

The {2-Hearts} turn came and Demlakian checked to the player in the cutoff who bet 6,500. After a little bit of pondering, Demlakian eventually folded showing one king and while saying he had kings. He is still managing to accumulate chips and is heading into the break with a healthy 62,000.
