James Potter
James Potter
James Potter called an 8,000 raise pre-flop holding {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and saw the flop of {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Potter then moves in for his remaining chips to attempt to take down the pot, but his opponent makes the call. Scotty Nguyen Doubles Up

Scotty Nguyen has just been moved to the prime piece of real estate for the fans on the rail on table number 15 and he didn't disappoint.

Within the first few hands on his new table, Scotty finds himself all in holding {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} against his opponent's {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

The board of {3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} brings cheers throughout the gallery as the "Prince of Poker" has doubled up to around 90,000 in chips!

Kenny's Rolling

Kenny Ng
Kenny Ng
Having won three of the last five pots he's played, Kenny Ng is on quite the heater. In his most recent victory, he eliminated an opponent from the tournament after winning a coinflip while holding pocket sevens against his opponent's {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}.

The board filled out {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{J-Diamonds} giving Ng a set of sevens and another 20,000 chips to add to his stack. He's currently sitting with right around 84,000 in chips.

Action Aplenty After The Break

In a big clash after the break, Michael Isacson and Steve Wise found themselves all in before the flop:

Steve Wise: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Michael Isacson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board brings {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Wise doubles up through Isacson.

Isacson, clearly tilted, then pushes his remaining chips in on the very next hand holding pocket threes and is called by Thomas Ovnerud holding {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}.

The flop comes {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Isacson is distraught and overheard to comment "Can I ever win a race?". The poker gods then answered the call, and a miracle {3-Diamonds} on the turn puts Isacson back in front. The {5-Clubs} on the river gives Isacson the pot and after an eventful few minutes he is back up to 30,000 in chips.

See you then!

Shattered Player Makes a Hasty Exit

Two players find themselves all in pre-flop:

Unknown: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Sol Bergren: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The flop of {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} looks great for the player holding the nuts until...

Turn: {K-Hearts}
River: {J-Clubs}

The runner runner straight sent the unknown player storming out of the poker area in disgust while the fortunate Bergren is left to count up his chips.

Sarah Bilney Cracks Kings To Double Up

It was folded around to a short stacked Sarah Bilney in the small blind and with the blinds creeping up, she pushed her last 10,000 chips into the middle. Adriano Cendron in the big blind looks down at his cards, looks up and says "I'm so sorry love" before calling with {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Bilney flips {Q-Hearts}{8-Spades} and is in serious trouble. However the board comes {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Bilney has amazingly doubled up to over 20,000 in chips.
