Start-of-day chip leader Seung Soo Jeon is melting down here in Manila. He made it 11,000 to see a flop and only Renato Villanueva called.
The board ran out with Jeon firing on every street, including 50,000 chips on the river.
Villanueva took his time about it, but made the call with and was right. Jeon could only show ace-high and has fallen from grace fast here over the last few levels.
Day 1a chip leader Daniel Belov is sliding down the leader board as the day rolls on.
He recently made it 4,800 from late position only to see Czardy Rivera call from the big blind. The flop fell and after Rivera checked, Belov continued for 5,000. Rivera check-raised to 12k and Belov made the call.
Both players chedked the turn, but when Rivera fired out some 15,000 at the river Belov folded.
