Nguyen Avoids Clash With Diaz

Quang Nguyen opened with a raise to 28,000 before Julio Diaz fumbled with his chips and made it 80,000 to go. The table folded around and Nguyen flashed an ace before letting his hand go.

Timoshenko Extends His Chip Lead

As he has done so frequently this afternoon, Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened the pot for 25,000. Big blind Rober Karian was the only caller. He checked to Timoshenko on a flop of all babies, {5-Clubs}

. Timoshenko cut out 36,000 chips from his stack and pushed them over the betting line, bringing a quick call from Karian.

Karian again checked the turn when it fell {9-Spades}

. This time Timoshenko bet 76,000, bringing another rapid call from Karian. Both players checked the {6-Spades}

river. Karian tabled {A-?}

, which couldn't beat Timoshenko's red eights.

The flop landed {9-Hearts}

and Kastle checked to Yeah, who fired 40,000. Kastle folded and Yeah took it down.

flop, checked again on the {k-Hearts}

turn, and checked one final time on the {2-Hearts}

river.

"Queen high," said Nguyen.

"It's good," replied Karian, prompting Nguyen's eyes to widen in surprise as he tabled {Q-Spades}

and collected the pot.

and Diaz flipped {3-Clubs}

for a baby flush to take it down.

It was a raised pot preflop, contested between Julio Diaz and Rober Karian. With the board showing {k-Spades}

, Diaz led out for 52,000. Karian quickly announced, "Raise," and pushed out 152,000 chips of his own. Diaz had no stomach for a further fight and folded.

After watching Joon Hee Yeah raise it and take it three times in a row, Yevgeniy Timoshenko must have felt left out. He has raised the last three pots preflop, winning all three without a fight.

Joon Hee Yeah has started to move his short stack around. After successfully moving all in preflop on the last three hands he has been able to claim the blinds and antes to get his stack back over the 100,000 mark.
