TheBigSiCkO Poker Clinic

Michael "TheBigSiCkO" Guzzardi is playing very, very aggressive poker at his table. He is routinely continuation-betting his entire stack on the flop. That strategy backfired in a recent hand against Marcel Jaggi. Jaggi led into Guzzardi for 1,500 on a flop of {K-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {6-Spades} after Guzzardi raised preflop. Guzzardi responded to Jaggi's bet by moving all in for 5,800. Jaggi quickly called.

Jaggi: {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Guzzardi: {K-Spades} {7-Diamonds}

Guzzardi was dominated and did not improve with the {8-Spades} turn or the {6-Clubs} river. Jaggi dragged the pot, leaving Guzzardi with about 2,000 in chips.

The very next hand, a player opened the pot preflop for 350. Lisa Walsh called in front of Guzzardi, who shipped his whole stack. Action folded back to the initial aggressor. "He's steaming," the player said before folding. It seems Walsh may have agreed as she called with {A-Spades} {7-Spades}. Guzzardi, however, turned over {K-Spades} {K-Hearts}, a hand which held up through the river.

After all that action, Guzzardi has 4,700 chips. Walsh is down to 3,300.
