The players are now taking another break. They are also taking about taking a dinner break after the next level, which seems a little strange when it will be 9 p.m. and we are currently three-handed. Play it out boys!

Steicke Wins Big Pot from Tran

Steicke power
Steicke power
JC Tran limped from the small blind and David Steicke raised to 43,000 in the big blind. Tran made the call.

They saw a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Tran checked to Steicke who fired 50,000. Tran made the call. The turn was a repeat {8-Hearts} and Tran checked once again. Steicke fired 100,000 before Tran check-raised to 200,000. Steicke snap-called as a massive pot was brewing.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and both players checked it down. Tran reluctantly revealed {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for fives and eights but Steicke had it with his {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for queens and eights.

Yet Another Rivered Straight

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} David Steicke checked from the big blind to Tony Bloom who made a bet of 50,000. Steicke made the call.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and the action checked around as the free {4-Clubs} landed on the river. Steicke checked and Bloom bet 60,000 with Steicke making the call.

Bloom tabled {A-Clubs}{2-Spades} for yet another rivered straight as Steicke mucked. Bloom is up over 900,000 chips.

Tran Rivered Again

David Steicke raised to 56,000 from the button and JC Tran made the call in the big blind.

The flop landed {5-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Tran check-called the 56,000 chip bet from Steicke. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river brought the {4-Hearts} and again Tran checked to Steicke who bet the magical number once again -- 56,000. Tran thought for a long time and used up one of his time breaker buttons before making the call.

Steicke sat motionless for a few seconds before first revealing the {A-Spades} followed by the {8-Hearts} for the rivered straight. Tran mucked his cards.

Bloom Gets There

JC Tran raised to 42,000 from the button and Tony Bloom made the call in the big blind.

They took a {K-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and Bloom led out for 45,000. Tran made the call. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Bloom released a second bullet worth 90,000. Again Tran made the call as a big pot was brewing.

The river brought the {2-Spades} putting three spades on board. It was enough to slow the action as both checked it down. Bloom tabled {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} for the rivered gutshot straight as Tran raised his eyebrows and mucked.

Bloom is back up to nearly 800,000 chips as this contest is now very evenly matched.

Tony Bloom raised from under the gun and David Steicke called in the big blind. They saw a head-up flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Steicke checked to Bloom who fired 45,000. Steicke made the call.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and both players checked. The river brought the {6-Diamonds} which was definitely an action card! Steicke led out for 60,000 and Bloom put in a big raise to 200,000. Steicke gave the decision a moment of thought before defiantly declaring a call.

Bloom flipped {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the flush as Steicke flashed {9-?}{10-?} for a rivered straight. Bloom is now up to 650,000 with Steicke back to 900,000.
