Only In Australia ...

Two Aussies were being transferred to another cash game table.

One looks up at the roof, then to his mate and says, "The tables aren't numbered, I don't know where I'm going!"

We could see how those bright red signs could be missed.

Johanssen Doubles Through Bari

The action folded around to Allen Bari who raised to 2,700 from the button before the flop. Mikel Johanssen reraised all in for 12,100, the big blind got out of the way and Bari snap-called.

Johanssen: {k-Diamonds}{k-?}
Bari: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

The board was spread {3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Johanssen doubled up to 29,000 while Bari slips to 36,000.

Bari Wins Flip Against Netter

Allen Bari managed to secure a double up of his own only moments later through Tyler Netter.

The action folded around to Netter who raised to 10,000 preflop, only to see Bari reraise all in for 36,000. Netter snap-called, turning up {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and found himself ahead of Bari's {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Bari took the lead when the dealer spread the flop of {4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} to give him two pair, then improved to a full house when the turn and river ran out {3-Clubs}, {j-Spades}.

Bari doubled up to 75,000 while Netter took a big hit back to 68,000.

Gruissen Crushed, But Not By Much!

The action folded around to Damon Lum who raised, only to see Gruissen Philipp reraise. It then went four-bet, five-bet shove, snap-call.

Lum: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Philipp: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Both players hit on the board of {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades}, but Philipp's two pair lost by a long way against Lum's set of aces.

The margin between chip stacks however, was far narrower.

Philipp was all in for 63,300. Lum had 63,500.

Ouch.

That's about as painful an elimination as you can get - well, except for the bubble hand of this year's Aussie Millions Main Event.

Philipp is busto; Lum is up to 134,000 in chips.

Juan Pablo Garcia Eliminated

We didn't get to see the action, but we did see that Vincent Van Der Fluit had tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} against Juan Pablo Garcia on a board of {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

We also saw that Garcia's hand was mucked and that he was left with just 900 in chips.

We then saw that Garcia was eliminated on the very next hand.

Van Der Fluit is up to 133,000 in chips. That's nice to see.

Thornton Scores Timely Double Up

With only 30 players remaining, Vic Thornton raised all in for 12,000 preflop after Allen Bari raised before him for 2,700.

The others got out of the way as Bari called, then the cards were revealed:

Thornton: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Bari: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop of {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} was a nightmare for Thornton and there was no help when the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Thornton was down to just three outs, and BOOM - down came the river {a-Spades} to see him double up!

Thornton is up to 26,000 while Bari slips to 64,000 in chips.

Peter Vujic Eliminated

The action folded around to Peter Vujic who raised to 3,300 before the flop before Andreas Riegen called from the button.

Kristian Lunardi reraised to 12,800, the big blind got out of the way, Vujic four-bet shoved the rest of his stack into the middle and Lunardi called after Riegen got out of the way.

Lunardi: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Vujic: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}, sending Vujic to the rail and Lunardi's stack up to 240,000 in chips.

Joe Williams Eliminated

Joe Williams has just been eliminated at the hands of Leo Margets after getting his money into the middle preflop with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, only to be outdrawn by Margets' {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} when the board came down {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Margets is back in the hunt, now up to around 75,000 in chips.
