Blind Bounty Costs English

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 200 ante

As the cards were being pitched to Bruno Portaro in the big blind, he baited the players with his bounty suggesting he had the "easiest blind to steal."

Wasting no time, Jarred Solomon raised from under-the-gun to 5,100. Tim English wasn't convinced of Solomon's holdings so slid out a re-raise to 15,000. Portaro did let his blind go, but Solomon wasn't so hasty in his decision. After much deliberation, he cut out his chip stack, counted it and re-racked it, before announcing he was "all-in" for 42,000.

Tim English didn't need too long to make the call tabling {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}. It would be the classic coin flip as Solomon tabled {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

The hand was all but over on the flop of {J-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} as Solomon got his dream flop. English was in real trouble as the turn and river bricked {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

With that pot Solomon moved up to 86,500 in chips and English has some work to do now sitting with 25,500.
