Here we are again to bring you continuing coverage of the 2011 Aussie Millions, this time with the Event 7: $1,150 No Limit Holdem with Rebuys!

It’s early on a Friday afternoon here in Melbourne, players waking up ready to attack the weekend, but not before they get their poker-fix and what better way then spewing off a few stacks and still having the chance to stay in the tournament and take a shot at a gold ring.

The rebuy event on the schedule has proved quite popular in previous years, not generating the mammoth fields of some of the standard freeze-out tournaments, but bringing out some of the best players with the bigger bankrolls.

The reigning champion from Canada, Michael Watson is likely to make an appearance, while last years runner-up finisher Gary Bensen is no stranger to this tournament, also winning it in 2007 to make him the most successful player in Aussie Millions rebuy events.

Final tableist of this event in the past have included the likes of Jonathan Karamalikis, Sorel Mizzi, James Obst, Richard Ashby and Tony Dunst and with all of them in town they will be itching to find that success again. Australian cricket “spin king” Shane Warne hasn’t been spotted in a field yet but having made the final ten in this event last year there will be no better time than now for him to make his 2011 debut.

This is it, lucky number seven. No matter who makes an appearance in todays field one thing is for sure, someone is going to walk away a lot richer and with an Aussie Millions title to add to their resumes. Don’t forget to catch the PokerNews Live Reporting team at 2 p.m EST for the Event 6: $1,100 6-Max final table. Until then keep it here for all the not-quite-bust-outs as players tackle the rebuy event kicking off at 12.30 p.m EST!
