Event #7: No-Limit Hold'em - Rebuys
Day 1 Completed
Another final table is set at the 2011 Aussie Millions, with the final ten tomorrow locked in for Event 7: $1,150 No Limit Holdem Rebuys!
It was 86 players who dished out the cash for entry along with a combined 255 rebuys and add-ons to create the AUD$341,000 prizepool.
Those who started the day but fell to their demise included Fabian Quoss, Tony Dunst, Tyron Krost, Faraz Jaka, Neil Channing, Full Tilt Pro's Scott Montgomery and Steve Yea, and Australian cricket champion Shane Warne.
With only the final table making it into the money, it was an unfortunately long day for no tangible return for the likes of young Aussies Steve Leonard, Aleks Brkovic and Ben Delaney. Each made it to the final few tables, but fell short of the money.
But alas, there can only be ten and with that we present to you the final table in order of chip counts.
Rank | Player | Chip Count |
1 | Randy Dorfman | 121,300 |
2 | Oliver Speidel | 114,800 |
3 | JP Kelly | 78,200 |
4 | Alexander Debus | 53,400 |
5 | Eoghan O’Dea | 47,500 |
6 | Jeff Chu | 29,200 |
7 | Joey Lovelady | 27,000 |
8 | Andrew Scarf | 26,700 |
9 | Albert Minnullin | 19,600 |
10 | John Zindo | 5,400 |
The man with the chips and therefore the power will be Randy Dorfman, while John Zindo is at the other end of the spectrum and will have to do some quick work to finish higher than 10th place.
JP Kelly is the man with the experience at the table with WSOP and WSOPE titles to his name, while Andrew Scarf is no stranger to a victory on home soil.
The ten players who have made it through the afternoon and late into the evening have all proven they have what it takes to outwit their opponents and will be looking to do that all over again tomorrow as they fight it out for the thousands up for grabs.

Elliot Smith has been crowned the bubble boy of event seven, his demise coming at the hands of Randy Dorfman.
Smith moved his stack in from early postition holding and ran into Dorfman holding on the button.
The bubble boy was looming!
The baord ran out and with that our final table was set!
Ben Delaney might not be the official bubble boy but it can be safe to say that he feels more sick than whoever that may end up being, as an unlucky situation played out over on his table.
As the cards were dealt out one of Delaney's cards slid off the table and revealed itself to be the .
It would be used as the first burn card and play would go on.
Folded to Randy Dorfman on the button he made a raise and Delaney would be all-in.
Delaney:
Dortman:
Delaney stood up to watch the flop turn over , not able to do anything but shake his head at the sight of the queen. The turn and river bricked and Delaney left understandably devestated.
Delaney is eliminated in 12th place, leaving one more to go before our final table is set!
Level: 11
Blinds: 600/1,200
Ante: 100
It's break time with only 12 players remaning.
The action will kick off again in 10 minutes.
With a raise and a re-raise in front of Steve Leonard in the big blind he took this opportunity to move his remaning 22,000 into the middle. The initial raiser Jeff Chu would get out of the way, but Oliver Speidel would make the call and put Leonard in risk of an exit.
Leonard:
Speidel:
Leanard would need help which would never come with Speidel's tens holding up and sending "stev0L" home.
Aleks Brkovic has just used the last two hands to both peak and plummet as he firstly got lucky to double holding , all-in preflop against Randy Dortman's .
But that hand was in vain as the next hand he moved allin holding against Alexander Debus' , this time in front but when the board ran out Brkovic would be eliminated in 14th place.
Ben Delaney just recieved a much needed double-up with his holding up against Aleks Brkovic's .
Brkovic and Delaney now swap positions as Delaney flies safely to 15,500 and Brkovik falls to 5,000.
JP Kelly and Ben Delaney fired three-bets and four-bets in every direction at each other until eventually Kelly would have his tournament life on the line and Delaney the majority of his stack.

Board:
Unlucky for Delaney who runs into aces after a mammoth day, leaving himself with under 5,000.
But, as they say it isn't over until it's over.
