RunGood Poker Series Golden Expedition has come to New Orleans, Louisiana. The $800 Main Event will offer a $200,000 guarantee as players look to become the next main event champion ring holder and take home the largest piece of cash as they battle it out over the weekend.
Jeremy Gaubert won this event in October of last year when he outlasted 307 entries to secure a first-place prize of $45,897 and earn the title of RGPS Main Event champion as well as a ring. Players will look to become the next champion this weekend.
The main event is slotted to host four starting flights before the final day of play on Sunday. Day 1a begins on Friday at 12:15 p.m. The second flight of the main event is scheduled for Friday evening at 6:15 p.m. Saturday will also host two starting flights with Day 1c beginning at 12:15 p.m. and Day 1d at 6:15 p.m. Sunday will be the setting of Day 2 with the main event restart slotted for 12:15 p.m. All times are local.

Players will begin with 30,000 in chips. Hopefuls are entitled to unlitmited reentries. Registration closes at the beggining of Level 9. Should a players qualify more than once, they will advance to Day 2 with the largest stack and will forfeit their other stack(s) and receive a Day 2 minimum payout. Players may also forfeit their stack at the completin of Level 8 and re-enter for $800 and begin with a fresh starting stack.
Blind levels are scheduled for 30 minutes on Day 1 starting flights. The blinds will increase to 40-minute levels on Day 2. 15-minute breaks are scheduled after every two hours. The top 12.5% (rounded down) will advance from each flight to Day 2. Any player that makes Day 2 is in the money.
