Cajelais Culled

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Catching the action with some significant money in the pot, Erik Cajelais had a bet of 23,000 out in front of his cards with James Obst raising to 48,500.

Andrew Feldman - who had contemplated being involved in the hand, stated he folded pocket jacks from the small blind - as Cajelais committed the remainder of his chips with Obst making the call to put the Full Tilt Poker Red Pro at risk.

Cajelais: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Obst: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

With Cajelais in the lead, and needing to fade the classic coin flip, the {2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop would render him drawing dead to a backdoor straight draw if Feldman was telling the truth about his holdings.

The {A-Hearts} on the turn saw Obst improve to trips as the dealer dropped the {6-Clubs} on the river to ensure Cajelais early exit as Obst soared to 190,000 in chips.

Yu Moves Up

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Winfred Yu raised from the cutoff seat to 2,500. Masa Kagawa called from the button and Daniel "jungleman12" Cates called from the big blind. The three of them saw the flop come down {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Cates fired out 5,000. Yu called and Kagawa folded.

The turn card was the {6-Spades}. After Cates checked, Yu checked behind to see the {J-Clubs} fall on the river. Cates checked and this time Yu didn't check behind. He bet 8,000 and Cates folded his hand.

Cates slipped back to 120,000 while Yu moved to 145,000.

Dwan Doubles With Top-Top

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Tom Dwan fired out a continuation-bet of 6,000 with Tony Guoga folding next to act before David Oppenheim check-called from the small blind.

The turn of the {10-Hearts} brought about another check from Oppenheim before Dwan's timer counted right down until he dropped in a bet of 17,000.

"How much you got Tom?" asked Oppenheim to Dwan, as the kid known as durrrr responded saying his had roughly 47,000 behind.

With that response, Oppenheim slid his entire stack into the pot - somewhere in the range of 90,000 - as Dwan paused momentarily before committing his final 64,000 total.

Oppenheim: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Dwan: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

With Dwan needing to fade a diamond, king or queen to stay alive, the river of the {3-Hearts} spiked on the river to ensure his double to 155,000 as Oppenheim was left with roughly just 30,000 in chips.

Just The Deuce for 'G

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Erik Seidel opened to 3,000 from early position with Tony Guoga and Brendon Rubie making the call from the button and big blind respectively.

Guoga took the lead on the {10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop with a bet of 6,000 as only Rubie called before the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Once Rubie checked the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn, Guoga's 12,000-chip bet saw Rubie fold as Guoga flashed his {2-Diamonds} while collecting the pot.

Another One for Karamalikis

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Billy Jordanou raised to 2,500 from early position. Daniel Cates called from the hijack seat and Jonathan Karamalikis called from the button. Everyone else folded and the flop came down {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and action checked around.

The turn card was the {J-Hearts} and action checked to Karamalikis. He fired 4,000 and Jordanou folded. Cates made the call.

The river card completed the board with the {8-Hearts} and Cates check-folded to a bet of 8,000 from Karamalikis, who improved to 155,000 in chips. Cates dropped to 120,000.

Guoga's Kings Can't Hold

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Tony Guoga opened to to 2,500 from the hi-jack only to have Brendon Rubie three-bet to 7,000 from the button.

Guoga made the call before checking the {7-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} flop as Rubie tossed in a continuation-bet of 7,000.

Making the call, Guoga would check the {A-Hearts} on the turn with Rubie following suit.

The river blanked out and Guoga led for 10,000 with Rubie instantly making the call.

Guoga tabled his {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}, but it would be Rubie's {A-Clubs}{8-Spades} that would see him snag the pot while moving over his starting stack.

Howard Lederer opened the cutoff with a raise to 3,000 only to have Sam Trickett three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind.

Lederer smooth-called to see a {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop fall. Trickett continued with a 12,000-chip bet as Lederer kicked his cards to the muc while slipping to 80,000.

Trickett has now built his stack to 275,000 in chips.

Aces for Oppenheim

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

David Oppenheim opened with a pot-sized raise to 3,500 and Brendon Rubie gave him some action from the small blind by making it an additional 5,500 more - the exact amount Oppenheim had left remaining.

"I guess I call!" stated Oppenheim as he tabled his {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} to be in commanding shape against Rubie's {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

The board would be spread {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} to see Oppenheim pushed the 19,000-chip pot as Rubie took a slight dip.

Oppenheim: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
