Gift of Chips for Wade

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Just before the break Tristan Wade was gifted some chips by his neighbor. We picked up the action on the {4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop where Wade was facing a 525-chip bet. His response was to raise enough to put his opponent all-in for his remaining 3,100. He took a while before calling with {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for second pair. Wade tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and faded any nasty out to move up to 13,000 in chips.

Horror Few Hands For Dorfman

We wandered past Randy Dorfman's table a couple of times and within a couple of minutes he ran into pocket-aces twice. The first hand saw him lost a large portion of his stack holing {k-}{k-}. When we strolled past his table just a minute or so later, Dorfman's cards were in the muck and his opponent's {a-}{a-} were on show while another portion of Dorfman's stack went in the wrong direction.

Vamplew Plays Them Cute

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

David Vamplew has doubled to 13,700 after slow playing aces. We picked up the action on the turn where the board read {7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Vamplew was in the small blind and led for 700. Call. The river came {5-Clubs} and the Scotsman led for 1,575 and called all-in for 5,525 when shoved on.

He tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for top set, besting his collared opponent’s {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for second set. He was then told, “You know you didn’t have to play it cute pre flop.”

Koon Coolered

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Jason Koon is down to 8,000 chips after hitting a flush-under-flush. He three-bet with {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and was called to a {4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. His opponent check-called with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, before check-raising all-in on the {8-Diamonds} turn. Koon called and mucked his hand before the river came {10-Diamonds}.

No one at the table would have had any sympathy for him as they all want his $1,000 bounty.
