Sylvia & Glazier Gone

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We didn't catch their bustouts, but we can confirm that both Jesse Sylvia and Jackie Glazier have been eliminated from Table 24, which is home to big stacks Man Hei Lam and Scott Wilson. It's also now home to 2010 Aussie Millions champ Tyron Krost, who sat down in Glazier's former seat with a stack of 128,000.

Nice One for Ivey

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

With 9,000 in the pot and a flop of {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, Phil Ivey checked from the big blind and his sole opponent bet 6,000 from middle position. Ivey called and then turned right around and led out for 17,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn. His opponent made the call and then both players checked when the {9-Hearts} river put four hearts on the board. Ivey tabled {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and it was good as his opponent sent his cards to the muck.

On Broadway

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
We're certain that these two are smarter than a fifth grader.
We're certain that these two are smarter than a fifth grader.

Nate Silver and two opponents took a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The action checked to a player in middle position, who fired 10,500. Only Silver called.

The turn was a repeat king - the {k-Hearts} - and both players checked.

The {4-Spades} completed the board, Silver bet 17,000, and his opponent called. Silver turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for Broadway, and his opponent flashed {a-}{j-} before mucking.

With the pot, Silver is back over 200,000 chips.

Ivey Doubles

The crowd around one of the feature tables swarmed a bit closer. Seeing as it was Phil Ivey's table, we rushed to the scene to see what was happening. When we arrived, the dealer and floor staff were verifying Ivey's chip count at a little over 100,000 and taking it from the stack of Rajkumar Ramakrishnan.

Ivey's {K-}{Q-} was the only one displayed on the final {K-}{J-}{2-}{7-}{9-} board, and Ramakrishnan sent over the chips. When it was all said and done, Ivey stood with over 250,000, while Ramakrishnan was kicked back to 267,000.

Markholt Shows Former Champ Why He's the King

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Lee Markholt
Lee Markholt

We happened upon the action with a board reading {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and between 90,000-100,000 in the pot. 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event champ Tyron Krost had checked from the small blind and Lee Markholt had a bet of 37,500 out in front of him.

Krost thought about it for a decent amont of time before making the call, but all he could do was muck when Markholt tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. With that, Markholt is up to 300,000 while Krost was left with just 34,000.

Will Jones opened to 5,000 in late position, a second player called out of the small blind, and "Hong Kong" Kenny Wong three-bet all in for 44,800 from the big blind. Jones re-shoved, and the player in the small blind called all in for 106,600.

Will Jones: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Small Blind: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Kenny Wong: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

There was a king on the {8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, and the turn and river came {10-Clubs}, {9-Diamonds} respectively. Wong tripled to 140,000 chips, the player in the small blind won the 123,600-chip side pot, and Jones was left with just 17,000 chips. He busted shortly thereafter.
