Neilson Eliminates Raskin

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Micah Raskin on Day 1a.
Micah Raskin on Day 1a.

"All in and a call," we heard a dealer say from a table behind us. When we turned around we saw Micah Raskin was all in and at risk against Daniel Neilson.

A preflop raising way resulted in Raskin being all in for roughly 60,000 from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, which was well behind the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} Neilson held in the small blind. The {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop paired both players, but Neilson's king kicker had him out in front. The {J-Clubs} turn meant Raskin needed a queen on the river to survive, but it wasn't in the cards as the useless {6-Diamonds} blanked.

After the cutoff seat opened to 4,000 and Dan Shak flatted from the button, Ping Chan three-bet to 18,000 from the big blind. The cutoff seat and Shak both folded, giving the pot to Chan and moving him over 300,000 in chips.

Wilson and Lam Mix It Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

From the button, chip leader Scott Wilson raised to 4,500. Man Hei Lam called from the big blind, and the flop came down {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} Lam checked, Wilson bet 402,000, and Lam called.

On the turn, the {2-Clubs} fell. Lam checked, Wilson fired 12,300, and Lam made the call once again.

After the dealer landed the {8-Clubs} on the river, both Lam and Wilson checked to get to the showdown.

Wilson tabled the {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a pair of sixes. Lam had him beat with the {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a pair of kings, and he won the pot.

Somewhere Over the Rabichow

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Kevin Rabichow (Day 1a)
Kevin Rabichow (Day 1a)

Kevin Rabichow has just crossed the 300,000-chip threshold. We missed the specifics of the hand, but the native Chicagoan held {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} on a {k-}{j-}{x-}{k-}{x-} board.

His opponent held two jacks for a lesser full house, and was eliminated.

Antonius Can't Beat Fenner's Top Pair

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Patrik Antonius checked the {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, and Robert Fenner fired 7,500. Antonius called to see the {5-Clubs} come on the turn. Both players checked. The river was the {6-Clubs}, and both players checked again.

Fun Times with the Great Fundaro

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Action folded to 2012 World Poker Tour Mazagan champ Giacomo Fundaro on the button and he opened for 4,200. The small blind then three-bet to 15,200, the big blind folded, and Fundaro made the call.

Fundaro called a bet of 4,200 from his opponent on the {3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, and then the small blind checked the {J-Spades} turn. Fundaro took the opportunity to fire out 19,900, and it was enough to get the job done as his opponent folded after thinking about it for 60 seconds.
