Too Many Clubs For Neilson

Level 4 : 300/600, 75 ante

The board read {J-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} when Vanessa Selbst check-called a 4,100-chip bet. On the river the {8-Clubs} hit and both players checked. Neilson sadly showed {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a straight on this four-flush board. Selbst mucked and Neilson's straight proved to be the winning hand.

Hachem Done Quickly

Level 4 : 300/600, 75 ante

Joe Hachem has just been the second player to be knocked out of this event. We didn't catch the action but Brendon Rubie was kind enough to share with us what happened.

Pritchard had raised to 1,200 preflop and Hachem three-bet to 2,800. This wasn't enough for Pritchard who put in a four-bet to 5,500 and this time Hachem called.

The flop brought out {8-}{J-}{Q-} and Pritchard bet 5,100, Hachem called. On the turn a {5-} popped up and Pritchard bet 13,600 after which Hachem moved all in for 36,500. Pritchard snap-called and showed {Q-}{Q-} versus Hachem's {10-Spades}{J-Spades}. The river brought a blank and Hachem was knocked out.
