Antonio Esfandiari and his table had taken a bit of a break from the "Lodden Thinks" antics, but it's now back. The question was our reporters was, "How much would it take Erik Seidel to officially and legally change his last name to Frankenberger?"
Our reporters were allowed to consult between the three of them and come up with a number. After locking it in, the bidding took place. Esfandiari bought the under of $5.7 million, but he suffered his first Lodden Thinks loss of the day as our reporters had settled on $8.5 million.
Then, the table were curious about how much Seidel would actually do it for. "Would you do it for $8.5 million?" Esfandiari asked Seidel.
"Aaaahhhhh, I don't know," responded Seidel hesitantly.
"I think you'd have to, though, right?" said Esfandiari.
"I guess so, eight and a half million is a lot of money," finished Seidel.
Erik Seidel has not been doing well so far as he's down to just 27,000 chips in the early levels. Elio Fox just raised to 2,300 under the gun and Seidel called from the big blind.
The flop came down and Seidel check-folded to a 3,100-chip bet.
Tobias Kuder raised to 2,000 preflop and both Jason Pritchard and Brendon Rubie called. The flop brought and Kuder bet 4,600, Pritchard folded and Rubie made the call.
The turn was the and Kuder check-folded to a 8,000-chip bet from Rubie.
The board read with about 35,000 in the pot when Elio Fox bet 21,000. Antonio Esfandiari went into the tank for quite some time and started talking to his opponent.
"You want me to call or fold? Feels like you want me to call," Esfandiari said before finally letting go of his hand. Fox is up to 128,000 and currently second in chips behind Esfandiari.
Chris Lee raised it up to 1,600 and Grant Levy three-bet to 3,800. Tobias Kuder decided to put in a cold four-bet to 6,600 which got Lee to fold. Levy moved all in for about 25,000 and Kuder snap-called.
The board read when Tobias Kuder and Hoi Cheung ended up getting all their chips into the pot. Cheung was in great shape with for a turned straight while Kuder was looking for serious help with his .
The river was the and that put a straight on the board. Chop it up!
Right after doubling through Antonio Esfandiari it was Jeff Rossiter who lost some chips again. There was about 12,000 in the pot when the board read and Esfandiari bet 8,500 after Rossiter had checked. Rossiter did not make the call and Esfandiari took yet another pot.
