Vanessa Selbst invested AU$50,000 in this event but that didn't help her get past the eighth level. A very unfortunate day ended quickly for the biggest winning female poker player in the history of the game.
Fabian Quoss informed us that Selbst moved all in after Elio Fox had raised, and Erik Seidel woke up with kings in the big blind. Selbst's ace-king didn't improve and she was knocked out.
From under the gun plus one, Erik Seidel opened with a raise to 3,500. Niklas Heinecker reraised to 7,300 on the button after action folded to him. Play folded back to Seidel, and he took his time before firing in a reraise to 14,500. Heinecker gave it up, and Seidel won the pot.

Despite not having the most chips in her stack, Vanessa Selbst has been staying active at the table. Here are two back-to-back hands she played.
On the first hand, Elio Fox raised to 2,800 from under the gun. Selbst took some time, then reraised all in for just about 20,000. Action folded back to Fox, and he also gave it up.
On the next hand, Selbst limped from under the gun, and action folded over to Niklas Heinecker in middle position. He raised to 3,600. Played folded back over to Selbst, and she made the call.
