Late registration has been closed and right now there are 22 players still playing. Three players, Vanessa Selbst, Fabian Quoss and Joe Hachem ended up doing a rebuy while Edward Kim, Jesse Sylvia, Grant Levy and Jeff Rossiter decided not to.
There have been 30 entries into this event and we will publish the payouts as soon as those are public.
Right before the break it was Fabian Quoss who lost all his chips in two hands versus Jonathan Karamalikis. The board read with about 20,000 chips in the pot when Karamalikis moved all in for 22,400. Quoss made the call and mucked when Karamalikis showed for a rivered pair of nines.
On the very next hand the board showed when Quoss ended up all in for his tournament life. The German showed and was ahead against Karamalikis' .
"Bink," Karamalikis said right before the dealer put the on the river giving the Aussie a straight. Quoss was knocked out and decided to give it another go. He's back in the tournament.
In a blind battle we just saw another all in confrontation involving Jeff Rossiter. The former Aussie Millions Main Event runner up ended up all in with versus Fabian Quoss' .
The board ran out and Rossiter was knocked out. He chose not to rebuy.
The fourth place finisher of yesterday's $250,000 Challenge has just entered the tournament. Igor Kurganov sat down at Mike Watson's table and is seated to Philipp Gruissem's immediate right.
The flop read when Vanessa Selbst checked to Daniel Neilson who bet 3,000. Selbst raised it up to 7,400 after which Neilson made it 14,000. Selbst moved all in and Neilson snap-called.
