Winfred Yu
Winfred Yu

Winfred Yu grinded the short for a very long time but eventually he didn't manage to sneak into the money. Yu moved all in from the small blind and Igor Kurganov called him from the big.

Kurganov: {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Winfred Yu: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{X-} and Yu was knocked out. All four remaining players are guaranteed at least AU$500,000 while Yu leaves empty handed.

Chop!

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

After a long series of all ins without any call we just saw a showdown between Igor Kurganov and Fabian Quoss. Kurganov moved all in from the button and Quoss called from the big blind.

Quoss: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Kurganov: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs} and the pot was chopped! That means we're still with five players and on the money bubble.

Since returning from the break, the players have been doing a bit more shoving than we've seen previously. Tobias Reinkemeier has moved in twice now, and Winfred Yu has also shoved once.

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Trickett Increases His Lead

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Tobias Reinkemeier raised from under the gun to 80,000, Sam Trickett called from the small blind, and Fabian Quoss called out of the big blind.

On the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, all three players checked to see the {10-Spades} land on the turn. Again, all three checked.

The river was the {10-Clubs} to pair the board, and all three players checked one final time.

Trickett showed the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, and the other two players mucked. Trickett won the pot.
