Polk Eliminated

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Doug Polk was all in and at risk preflop for around 100,000 with {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and was slightly ahead of Fabian Quoss' {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Holding the only diamond, Polk extended his lead when the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. He made a meaningless pair of deuces when the {2-Hearts} turned, and just needed to fade a non-diamond king, queen or ten on the river.

Unfortunately for the American, the {10-Spades} completed the board, and he was eliminated.

Negreanu Busts Reinkemeier

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu in the small blind, and he moved all in against Tobias Reinkemeier's big blind. Reinkemeier called to put himself at risk with the {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for 190,000. Negreanu had the {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and Reinkemeier was eliminated.

Mercier Adds

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Justin Bonomo on the button, and he raised to 55,000. In the big blind, Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier defended with a call, and the dealer spread the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. Mercier checked, Bonomo bet 75,000, and Mercier called.

The turn was the {J-Spades}, and Mercier checked again. Bonomo opted to check behind and the free river card was the {K-Hearts}. Both players checked again.

Bonomo showed the {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades} for two pair, queens and jacks, but that was no good against the {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for Mercier as he rivered a better two pair, kings and jacks.

Two Shoves from McDonald

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Mike "Timex" McDonald just moved all in two times without getting called to chip back up to over 500,000 in chips. On the first hand, Tony Bloom limped in from early position, and then action folded to McDonald in the small blind. He raised all in for a little over 350,000 and won the pot. Fabian Quoss folded from the big blind, and Bloom folded.

After that, Daniel Negreanu opened with a raise to 48,000 from middle position, and McDonald reraised all in from the cutoff seat for around 420,000. Action folded back over to Negreanu, and he said that he wasn't going to give he newly-earned chips away and folded.

Negreanu Doubles With Kings then Aces

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu (Day 1)
Daniel Negreanu (Day 1)

Daniel Negreanu was all in preflop for 190,000 holding {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} against Doug Polk's {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The board ran out {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and Negreanu doubled through.

Negreanu was then all in and at risk with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, and his opponent Mike McDonald showed pocket kings - {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Kid Poker held again as the flop, turn, and river produced {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, and is now up over 900,000 chips.

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier has been quiet for the first part of Day 2, but he just busted Dan Smith to move to one million in chips. Mercier's {A-}{9-} held up against Smith's {Q-}{J-}.

Paul Newey (Day 1)

We're not sure when the money went in, but Paul Newey was all in with {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} on a board of {7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. He was crushed by Fabian Quoss' {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and drawing dead when the {9-Spades} turned.
